weekly blog post #2 Can music change a person ?

Do you think music can define one's personality ? I think so, as an individual gets older i feel they outgrow some of the things that they grew accustomed too. Such as music. When i was younger i did some very bad things, and i have grown out of my old ways. At that time i was listening to the "hardcore" gangsta rap. Granted i no longer listen to such My world has done a total 360, i no longer associate myself with those individuals i once did, i no longer partake in the activities i once did things of that nature you know ?

I am a strong believer that makes grabs onto your soul and holds on for the ride, certain stages in your life music will leave you to find a new soul, but you will never be without music as once one leaves another will latch right on. Music i feel lets your soul breath, you can be in a horrible mood you hear one good song and your cares are gone instantly for a few moments. Music controls your inspirations and asperations, you hear a mellow song and your at ease with the world, you hear some kind of heavy metal track and you want to get up and slam dance or whatever. Think about your relationships of past. how many times did you and your other have that special song ? After the break up what happends when you hear that special song ? you automatically think of the other. Now music has your heart and mind and your soul.
