I went to Holmes Park tonight. Bill is in Florida taking a river canoe/camping trip with his grandson Logan this week. Steve said that he would come if he got his sleep in and Erica said that she'd be in Saluda. I got there and they had little kids' soccer tryouts going on the ballfield and the parking lot was parked clear full. I had to park along the street. I played a round by myself and Steve was playing #1 when I was teeing off on #9. I threw birdies on 2,5, and 6 but took a double bogey on 4 so I was -1 for the round. Steve and I played 2 more rounds and I was -1 and even on them. I was really struggling to throw my sidearm tee shots since my right shoulder is still very sore. But overall I was okay. So I was -2 after 27 holes.
I found a field to throw on that is pretty close to home and I went out Saturday and threw about 80 hard sidearm tee shots. On Sunday my shoulder hurt very much. On Monday I was still struggling with it. It really bothered me at work. Last night I went back to the field and threw 80 approach shots and 16 tee shots. Today it felt much better but is still pretty sore. Welcome to old age!
