Steve called and we went to Holmes a little early to play today. I was throwing pretty well, but my putting was really sorry. We played 27 holes and I was -1, even, and +3. We ran into Ken and Lynn when finishing the second round. My far away vision must be getting worse, because I didn't recognize them until we were up the hill and much closer. On the third time around I hyper-extended my right elbow on the 2nd hole. Some guys left a disc in the top of one of the trees on Tuesday. Each time around Steve would stop and throw a limb or some rocks at the disc. The third time around I picked up a rock and threw it and hyper-extended my elbow. It's very sore now and I really struggled to play the rest of the round. I tried a couple of side arms but they were very painful. I started throwing thumbers and I had to windmill them. That is one thing about disc golf - there is always something else that you can throw when you get into trouble.
On the final hole of the day I left my tee shot about 80 to 90 feet out so I took a soft ROC and hit the front of the basket with it. It fell straight down, stood up and rolled 60 feet down the hill. I took it and hit the front of the basket again with the very same result. It stopped about 10 to the right of where it stopped the first time. This time I put it up there and well right of the basket to let it stay up there for a double bogey! Steve and I had a good laugh on that one. Also on the 2nd round at the 5th basket I put my putt in and out of the chains followed by Steve Clanging the chastity belt. The next time around I put my putt right throw the chains and Steve followed it by clanging the chastity belt again. The fist time we laughed but we were ready to cry when it happened again!
