The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Within my disc golf community there has been a debate about the importance of certain rules. As a young disc golf player I like to be naive and believe everyone gets along with everyone and that everyone plays by the rules. Well hear in the real world neither of those things are true. People dislike or have problems with other people and people break the rules. This is why we have a judicial system in the world, to handle people who break rules. Well hear in the disc golf community we have a set of rules that we are supposed to play by. Some of those rules have less bearing than others. Just like the speed "LIMIT" is supposed to be the FASTEST that you drive...people may go "5" over on a regular basis, and this does not end the world, but may give an officer a reason to pull you over. Lets start a discusion about these rules that have less bearing than others. And why are they still in our rule book if they aren't important?
