First Game of The Year

Got out today with a few of the usual suspects. Gary, Jeremy and Dan. Played Windflower. The temperature was about 40 and a lot of the snow is melting. Overall it was a nice day to get out. The course is in pretty good shape considering the recent weather. There are a few tree limbs down and a lot of little twigs. All this from the ice storm a few weeks ago. The pads are all covered in show and ice and we even had to search for them. All in all it was a great way to warm up for the Ice Bowl in a few weeks.

As for the game...I played about as well as I usually do...bad. Had a couple of good shots as well as two birdies. As usual, my putting let me down. I think Jeremy won...we stopped really talking about the score after 8 or 9 holes. All of us are a little rusty. The best part was just getting out and playing...THAT was fun. Now I'm looking forward to playing better this year as well as hitting more courses.
