The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Someone just called from Bridgewater, NJ to return my disc I lost at the Chimney Rock disc golf course..which until I started writing this I forgot how I lost it. It was the tee shot of the first hole, me and Nic had just waited in the car for 30 minutes for the storm to pass. I threw a RHBH hyzer bomb, and thought I was parked. Could not locate it in the rough around the basket due to tall grass, pines, and chest high ivy. It's a red star teerex.

So far on this trip, that's 4 of about 10 lost that have been returned or called about. That's easily 4 times the rate of return in Michigan, my home state. Last trip, I got about 6 call backs of 20 lost. The national average is easily 2-3 times higher than back home. Just wondering what's up with that, MICHIGAN disc golfers?

Thanks everyone who returns anyone's disc. I have returned or attempted to return half a dozen myself this year.

Haha. I know how you feel. I felt like I had better luck in MI/ OH before moving here. I've lost probably 10 or 12 (I could figure it out if I felt like thinking) and only had one returned plus another one I got back that some kids tried to sell back to one of the local disc shops... but the owner saw my name and I frequent his store so he just took it from them and called me. I was doing field work today in a church's open field, and I turned around for a minute, only to find that the little punks walking across the field stole my Comet from me! MN is worse Ben!
