I played in a monthly on Saturday where there was an abnormally large amount of people. Ace pool was around $280. I played the second round with one person I knew and two other people who I did not know but they were friends. Twice I noticed one of these other players did not tell the correct score for the hole. The first time I did not say anything, but the second time I tried to make him rethink his throws and he still did not get the right count. Since neither of the other two spoke up I let it go again. This person shot a 51 the first round. The course is such that that is not an unreasonable score but it made me wonder. I think he wanted to play with his friend second round so they fudged some scores the first round as well. I came to a conclusion after this: Before any round starts I am telling the group that I am in that I keep up with other peoples scores as well as my own and if I get a different count I will call you on it, and to please do the same to me. I know longer care about those people will think of me. If this bothers anyone I usually play with: Tough Cookies!
