The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I'm not sure if anyone has blogged on this yet, but the world famous Shoe Tree at Morley Field in San Diego is no more.

High winds and heavy rain led to the tree's demise this past weekend. The weight of the hundreds of water-logged shoes hanging on its branches caused it to topple in the high winds. The shoe tree was a well-known San Diego landmark and definitely an icon in the disc golf world. This leaves us to wonder: "where will the next shoe tree pop up?"
