2008 PDGA Worlds Am Player Package

This is a great tournament host hotel with plenty of open social space and a nice bar and restaurant.

Garrett and Steve and I drove back roads to Kalamazoo in the convertible. Sheila drove her car via the freeway later in the day. GG and Steve are spending the night in our room and will strike off with friends for the rest of the tournament tomorrow. Sheila and I saw an awful lot of good friends tonight and had a great time: the Hardymans, Doc Harmon, Jon Lyksett, Everett, Avery and Valarie, Matt Peckham, Rob Lee and his brother, the PDGA staff, I give up - it's just too many to list.

I know folks who aren't here will want to know about the player package, so here's a photo and an incomplete listing. Sheila and I will play mixed doubles tomorrow. Going to bed now.

Here you see it. Over it all is a really high quality Worlds-logo umbrella. Other items include a Worlds tee shirt, several stickers and decals, several minis including a couple which fit inside each other to carry stuff in, a nice drinking glass with the Worlds logo, a little plastic bottle that can hang from a chain to carry stuff in, a Bell's coozie, a Ript Revenge disc golf card game, some poison ivy medicine, a Frisbee Pluto Platter, a full-color Discraft Zone ESP, a DGA Rogue, an Innova Pig, and more stuff.

zone was the new disc for the one disc challenge this year.....stable putt/mid...

what hotel terry?? I 've heard they will be selling merch there all this week....can you confirm???
