All of today's Am scoring is here.

I played a pretty terrible round at Oshtemo, figuring by the time I was done it was about 880-rated. However, it turned out to be rated 914 (still not good) and enough to tie me for first in the Am Senior Grand Master group (with Chuck Hornsby, who I figured I would be seeing a lot of). I had three (3) putts hit metal and roll away, two for bogies and a third for a double bogie. In each case they would have been pars! Luckily I got stronger in the second half of the round and birdied three, after missing several in the first half.

Richard Tuttle, also from Ann Arbor, parked one 354-foot hole with his left-hand forehand, pretty amazing for my division.

Sheila played two rounds with the Am Grand Master women at Robert Morris and her day illustrates how you simply cannot gauge your play at Worlds on a single round. She was 9 strokes out of first (in 5th) after her first round but shot that division's best round of the day the second time around the course and ended up in first by a single stroke. That's a move of 10 strokes on the field in a single round!

Waiting for her to get back the host hotel so we can head to the Flymart! Then to bed early, as my division plays first Robert Morris and then Three Rivers - a long day tomorrow.

Wow, Chuck held strong with me in the morning today, keeping it tied. But I pulled ahead by four in the second round (third overall). Sheila increased her lead to 3.

Great job Terry ....all tied up for the lead. ....And Sheila with a one stroke lead. Now that your past the first day nerves...it's time to pull ahead and put the field in your rearview.

Tell Double G's Burger...he's got Climo on the ropes...time for the moving rounds. ....right to the lead groups.

Good luck all, Jamie
