Disc Golf In the News

Yesterday, the Ann Arbor News featured disc golf on the front page of its "Connection" section. The coverage also included a nice image about it at the top of the front page. Here is a link to the article, titled: It's the right stuff vs. the white stuff Dedicated disc golfers don't let winter spoil the game. The online version does not have a sidebar interview with Mark Ellis that was in the print version, nor does it have the pictures. Some time this weekend I will scan it and share all of that here.

When I began this network, I included an RSS feed of Disc Golf News, which you can still find on the front page,m left-hand column. But it's not very active, because I have set the news search to only look in headlines. When I set it to look in entire articles, it finds a lot of stuff that's not pertinent.

Given that there is no automated way to do this that I know of, I am starting this blog. Perhaps those of us whose local media covers disc golf can share, via comments to this blog post, links to articles; and also attach scanned images of those articles and the pictures in them?
