Last night I was all over the discgolfreview.com forum talking about turnover Rocs, and 10x rocs just trying to get a feel for what kind of kc roc would turn a little more for me, I seem to have a bunch of superhuman stable 11x's that only beat into dead straight or hold the line you put on them. I'm not complaining, but I don't like dx and need a turnover midrange. Anways after finding someone to trade for 2 used 10x's I had a pm in my inbox from a JR that was just titled "hi". It wasn't the person I was trading with, and I couldn't remember ever meeting anyone named JR in my travels. It turns out that he was from finland, and had seen the '05 MSDGC DVD which I was lucky to be featured in. I wont get into the details but he praised me for my play. It got me thinking. As I mentioned in my last blog (or rather my first becauses I have never kept a blog before) I met my current girlfriend because her boss showed her that DVD. Now I am getting personal messages from people across the pond who were (hopefully) inspired my play and the work I put into my game, 2 and half years later. Disc Golf has blessed me. And once I have some extra money I can donate, Maple Hill will be the recipient. Thank you to the folks at Marshall Street.
