Here comes the first real threat heading toward FL this year. I'm wondering how many FL residents here are ready.

As for my wife and I....we got stocked up on gas for the generator yesterday. All the other hurricane supplies replenished last week and yesterday as well. I also made sure I got a full tank of propane for the grill.

Tomorrow, I will dig up the plywood and hardware and get it ready if fay goes Cat 2 or higher. Hopefully it stays a tropical storm or a Cat 1 at worst. I may still cover the large plate glass window on the southside anyway. The others will depend on the strength and projected track as it gets closer.

To make matters more interesting, I'm in the middle of having a pool put in...It happens to be ready for gunite, which was set for this Tuesday. Doubt that's happening now! Son of a.....!

...and also I was going to Bristol for the race next weekend...guess where the NHC predicts the strom to be by Fri. $#%&*#!

Getting hammered now....this !itch won't go away...to get worse by morning with the eye sitting just offshore NSB by 14 miles or so, heading right back at us. lost a tree here in my yard today. The course most likely will be trashed by morning, the sewers will be overflowing...giving the term 'Water Hazard' a new meaning.

Our nieghbors to the south in Brevard are seeing historical rainfall and flooding...with lots of raw sewage mixed in. looks like parts of our county is possibly due for some of the same.

This morning it shifted again and is riding the coast...if it stays along the coast it won't get to hurricane status. It's suppossed to bring us about 45-50 mph sustained winds around noon and into this afternoon.....and a crap load of rain.

Yeah come on down...we have a good course with lots of 'full' ponds and ditches...lol

It may flood completely after this...but it drains quick. The biggest hassle...if it floods, our footbridges will float all over the park.

Tuscawilla is right around the corner from the house...a couple of par 5's and a 3.

The "wobbler" is filling the pool...as predicted....not quite the cannonball from the roof full....maybe by the end of the day.

Now she's stopped in her track....dumping massive amounts of rain on our neighbors to the south. The course at Wickham and the course on 520, F Burton Smith, must be absolutly flooded with over 8 inches so far.

Tomorrow she's expected to head slowly into the Atlantic around Melbourne...grow into a hurricane...then loop back somewhere north of me as at least a Cat 1....but that will probably change...lol

Things may be looking up for the trip to Thunder Valley...it's getting out of here that seems to be the issue....we may need to bob and weave our way into Georgia.

Leave to the Everglades to give it some more punch....Don't think that's ever happened before.
