The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
Well this Saturday is the Jeff City club's 1st annual Ice Bowl and I'm super excited about it!!!
Jan 26th was Columbia's and we cranked in a bunch of food as well as close to 75 peeps from the area and had a Blast. It started off a bit chilly but there was no snow. The harsh element was the wind, gusting between 20 and 30 mph. It made for some pretty unsure putts. I finished 4th in my division while KK finished 3rd in her's.
This weekend the playing field changes! Binder is a Great Course with elevation added in for a extra flair of difficulty. They have some new placements up there since I was last there but it should be a blast considering we are expecting 6" to 8" of snow tonight and tomorrow. Being this is their first Ice Bowl it's only fitting that the snow be a part of it as well. Only a handful of CDGC members are making the trip as of now but we will be there for them just as they always are for us
