The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Right now in the northeast it is raining an about 40 degrees outside. Not the ideal conditions for playing disc golf. I think we have all seen the commercial where the camera pans through tiger woods home, looking at his accolades and trophies while the pattering of rain drops can be heard. Then at the end it shows tiger outside in the pouring rain practicing in a downpour. Maybe if the temperature was warmer I would be out playing, but right now the conditions are keeping me inside. Work for me got cancelled today and I am done with classes so I am trying to decide how to capitalize on the free time I have today from a disc golf perspective. I was thinking about doing some lifting but didn't really know what lift I should do. I thought bench press and then what I call lawnmower pulls (like you're starting a lawnmower) maybe some squats. But one day of lifting isnt going to make that much of a difference, I need to start a regiment. Some other time maybe. Cleaning discs isnt going to help my game, neither is organzing them. I guess the only way to improve, is get out there like tiger and practice, and the next time its cold and rainy during a tournament I should have an advantage.
