This weekend I got to go to Garberville for a round of disc before I went down to the Willie Nelson concert at Dimmick Ranch. It was a fun course with multiple tees on almost every hole. There were some tone poles, but mostly baskets, with some hanging from trees (very cool). I could see why I had herd varrying reviews from diffrent people I knew who had played the course, as there were varying reviews in my group. I loved it, despite the wind. It starts out with a walk up a huge hill and a throw down the hill and out between some pear trees in the field. The next hole was a wide open field shot that I thought was borning. Then it went to a huge hyzer bomb through a gap in the trees and over a creek. Over all there was some Poison Oak and Blackberries that got bad at points (reasons for my partners to not like it, as they ended up in the blackberries alot), but there was alot of fun shots and oppertunity for improvement and expansion.
Willie Nelson was great. I got to get my shift working security in before the show even started. It was a very mellow and sedated croud (I wonder why...). Willie played lots of old and new songs, a good variety. And I throughly enjoyed it despite the fact that I don't like most country music.
Good Times.
