The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Hey all,

I've been throwing the Comet, and Buzzz (2 FLX, 1 ESP) religously since I got them about 6 months ago (Thats how long Ive been playing) I love em ... great discs.

I just got 2 new EliteZ Wasps ( I know the pic isnt elitez, it just looked cooler), and Im looking for review and advice on them. I do throw LHBH and a bit LHFH, but I can translate righty though.

Thanks in advance!

got to agree with mr landers, the wasp is discrafts version of the ROC. can be a good stable, STRAIGHT flyer.

I've been looking at getting a wasp myself for the gentle hyzer finish but last tourney couldn't find one and ended up with a Gator. Also, have you tried a Drone?

Well man, I'm rhbh, and I use a wasp, but only for forehand midrange shots, like if leaning way out of a bush or something

The Z Wasp is the only Discraft Disc I have in the bag right now. The main reason why I bought this Disc was because it looks just like a ROC but in champion plastic. The flight characteristics are just like a ROC for me. The way I throw is based off of throwing ROC's . My Z WASP Will not go as far as my Innova ROCS but is more stable then any of my Innova ROC's , so to me the Z WASP is a slightly overstable ROC.
Great for flat straight shots, great for stable turn shots. Great for accuracy short shots . I really dont use the Z WASP for anything else.
Solid Disc.

i like that i can throw it hard, flat and count on it going straight , finishing a little left.

buzz with a stronger fade at the end due to the bead on the rim. great disc, useful in the wind. A good source of info about discs....disc golf review.com.
