2009 Mushroom Manor Mini Disc Golf Moments

It wasn't suppose to snow today but 2 1/2 inches fell anyway. Seems to be the winter way around south central PA. Lancaster winter weather seems to be on the edge of lots of snow or nothing but slush and muck! Today was snow. You've got to love to play disc golf while it's snowing. Big or small disc golf, it's always a blast. Juddy, better known as Crink, showed up in his $250.00 Audi that smells like "old" from 15 feet away. We played the original layout today. With the snow it was nice being aggressive at the pin because there was no roll away affect. No roll away is nice "down by the river" and on the green of hole 7 near the front of the house. Here is the Mushroom Manor Mini Moment of the Day:
On the tee of 17 ( the island green at the mail box) I was 3 under and in the hunt for a no O.B. Bonus Buck and Juddy was 2 under "double out" ( carded a Bogey and threw O.B.) I threw a hyzer around the oak tree with a "sinks in the water" Little Flyer that nearly aced. Juddy threw a gentle turnover left of the oak tree with a Little Flyer landing next to the pin. I didn't think anything of it but when I approached my mini I found it in the neighbor's driveway! O.B. !!!! No Bonus Bucks for me! Remember, I said it was nice to be aggressive to the pin, yeah, right. Like the first Mushroom Manor mini says, "Anything can happen at Mushroom Manor". Bogus! I managed to card a circle 3 and Juddy dropped his in for a birdie. Tie game at 3 under with one hole to go, The Mushroom hole. Both of us threw hammers over my house and carded birdies. PLAY OFF TIME! We played from the alternate tee of hole 1 on the Stretch R Out course to the basket of hole 2, way down by the river, par 4. I fluffed a turnover shot to the far right and Juddy threw a "thumby" straight down the middle. Both of our second shots were thrown well leaving us fairly easy lay ups to the pin. My aggressive lay up skipped in the snow just by the pin and landed in the river! Arrrrrrg! O.@#&%* B.! Juddy wins.
I would like to thank Juddy for sharing his six pack of Brooklyn Brewery East India Pale Ale. Go git yurself sum! It gooooood! The snow pic above was from a couple years ago. We got a lot of snow that day. We played the basket just like that for tournament play.
