I got out there around 10 am to miss the coming weather and played the first round pretty well with some wind but the 2nd round after noon was brutal. The wind increased and I was happy to play the short tees for the entire round. Although I lost two discs I still had fun. I was able to play certain areas of the course I did not know existed because the wind carried several throws off target and no where close to the intended target. For those who know the course, my teeshot on #15 ended up left of the driveway gate due to a gust of wind and parallel to the pile of branches and wood close to where the proposed new basket for #14 is suppose to be. The only disappointing part of the day was getting discs back from the shop that I had lost that had evidently been found by other people who decided to put their names on them and then throw them in the water. This is not the first time this has happened but it is disappointing because I lost two of the discs at other courses, so they had evidentally been playing with them for a while. I am just glad this time the names on the discs were not members of our club.
