The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Let me give you some background. About one month ago, my wife made plans to be aout of town for three days with her photo club. My daughter goes to school from noon to 3:30pm, so I'm thinking,"3 days of disc golf!" And then depression set in!

The first problem, the weather. On the cold side for this time of year and rainy. No big deal. I've played in worse. But come on! It's spring...it should be nice! Second problem, my daughter comes down with a fever today, Sunday, the day before she goes back to school from spring break. The weather is something I can deal with, but if my daughter has to stay home... I'm screwed!

Don't get me wrong, I'm upset mostly because she's sick, not just because it ruins my plans. The whole thing sucks! My plan was to be on my way to a course right after the bus picked her up. 3 hours of discin' 3 days in a row, plus league on Wednesday night! Let's hope the disc golf gods smile mon me and her fever goes away!

The disc golf gods were not with me. When I could play, the weather was lousy!! When I was unable to play, it was nice! Not fair!! Tried Tuesday to go, but I didn't fair much better. It was windy, cold and almost lost a disc on the first hole. Today it's sunny!
