The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
December 2007 I was at the top of my disc golf career. I placed second in a tournament over great pros and was firing on all cylinders. Then a new relationship happened. I didnt play much the following year until it ended.
Since then, I have been in a driving slump. In early january 2011 I also experienced a putting slump. HERES HOW I FIXED MY SLUMP: I was lowering disc in my back swing. As a result, the disc was pulling around my body and spraying out of my hand. common symptoms: disc spraying and or grip lock. drives flying too high or too low, loss of power.
This apparently is the most common drive problem for disc golfers. I have corrected this before but fell back into bad habits. I now realize how quickly bad habits enter our games. The funny thing is: this corrected my aim and added distance to my game. weird.
Looking foward to playing rounds now with my new swing, hopefully shattering my old player rated rounds.
