I just got back from a single round "club flight" mini tourney and I must say I have a smile on my face :). Mostly that's because I carded my second ace in a round--first in a tourney--on hole 12 at Albert Oakland's Back Course! Once again my ace came from a thumber that bounced/skipped up and in. This time I threw a 169g Z Avenger. As an added bonus, it was also my first time winning our club's Ace Pool!
Unsurprisingly, carding a "1" was also a key point in my round, as the ace began my 7 under par run on the final 9 holes. I still only shot 2 under for the day--which illustrates how bad of a round I was having prior to my ace--but I placed 1st in our tiny Am bracket anyway. All in all, today was definitely another great day of hucking.
