The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I was in peoria (a neighboring town to mine) with my girlfriend and conned her into stopping to play a round of disc golf at Bradley Park. She only like to play 9 holes at a time so we only played the back nine. I didn't have my mids or putters with me(see previous blogs) so I was doing pretty badly. She was getting some fours and tieing me on a few holes and I told her that was really good for a girl thats only played 9 holes less than half a dozen times. I ended up finding an unmarked KC Pro Roc that weighs 175g in the creek so that replaces one of my ones that was stolen.

When we got to the 18th tee I decided to do something a little different than I normally do on that hole. It's about 270ft on the pin position it was in with a large forked tree guarding it in the front. I usually throw a Roc or a Buzz and hyzer it around the tree and land somewhere close to the basket. Well since I only had the Roc I had just found and wasn't quite used to it I threw my champ Teebird on the same type of hyzer and if gave it just enough more distance to have it be pin high as it was coming in from the right and it hit chains but blew through!!! That's the only time I've ever hit basket from the tee. I think some aces are about to start rolling in here pretty soon.
