After 5 visits to the chiropractor, I've been approved to play disc golf again!

I have to ease into it so I don't hurt myself again, but at least my shoulder is better.
I've been having withdrawals, bad, for the last two and a half weeks; couldn't even putt without hurting.

The doc said it's a good thing I quit when I did (2nd round in a 2-day tourny) or I probably would've needed surgery. I was getting pretty upset with my rapidly declining game, but now I know why I was sucking it up so bad. I was compensating for my injury before I even knew I'd hurt myself.

Hopefully my game hasn't suffered, but I'm usually the type that plays better after a small haitus anyway.

Gotta go, gotta throw! Woo-Hoo!

I have an appointment tomorrow with my Chiropractor, who just happens to be my martial arts instructor. I injured my back bad this week. Lately it hasn't been that great, but playing usually made it feel a bit better. Not this time. I should have quit in the middle of the round, but I had to battle through which probably caused more damage.

I am not going to play until I feel much better and am able to walk without my back hurting. I am looking into different throwing techniques also, and maybe I can avoid future injuries.

Yeah, so I know what you are going through. Don't push it like I did. And stop if you feel any twinge. I might just putt in the yard if I can do nothing else.
