The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I actually made it to doubles the other night( thanks to the tornado warning friday night causing a postponement until Saturday). I was pretty stoked when we took my drives on 1, 2, and 4, and 5 (and a few others). So when my partner was talking to a buddy from the other team (who was beating us by two) about it not being as fair because we can't catch up to them because he is playing with a girl, I took slight offense. So I laid it on pretty thick for the rest of the evening, especially when we took second on the evening as the only other team under par. I wonder if he has pried his foot out of his mouth yet:) The course was really pretty dry considering we have had rain for most of the month of May. I was sporting some seal skins and for good reason. Only five holes have yet to be mowed and the swamp is beginning to recede. I am really liking my 150 flick and my 168 wraith; as usual, my spider tore it up.

I get the honor of playing doubles every week with a (female) pro, and I've seen several "girls" around that I would take as partners any day. Yes, distance can help, but the biggest drivers aren't always the biggest winners. You go Kile, and you Should rub it in.

Go Kile! I played dubs in Emporia after the Monkey Island Food Drive. The guy that got me as a partner was from Emporia; he was obviously bummed as we walked to our first tee. Boy did he turn that frown upside-down when he saw my 1st drive. Then he enjoyed the piggy-back ride the rest of the round-LOL! We shot -2, with his assistance (not mine). Who throws like a girl? These boys need to have faith in us.
