The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

1st year on the disc league for Club Dead. Playing longs at Oshtemo every Wednesday. It's been going well, I've been shooting better and better every week. Then yesterday happened. Couldn't stay out of the woods, thought I could make the shot in lieu of taking an out. Nope. Try again. Nope. We lost our 2nd game but out of 8 so far, not bad. Our record now is 5-2-1 (are ties last or the middle one?) I couldn't help be frustrated, and I can't play DG angry. After leages J and I went to shoot the shorts a little bit before the sun went down. Stopped and worked on my putting. I'm not a putter, I've changed how I putt, what I putt with, etc. about 4-5 times now this year just trying to find my niche. I think I've got it (5th position, aim, plié, to all of you who also incorporate ballet into DG .. who does that? Thanks Toyo). So, going out today after work, where should I go? Gotta work with my Valkyrie and my Rhino before next Wednesday. Begg? BobMo? Meyer Broadway? hmm....

I remember Oshtemo from worlds. six or seven holes I drove my mid range to stay on the fairway.Thats what makes for great golf.Risk/vs.reward. only be angry if your putt was low!

Thanks for the good words! I've never been a putter, that's where my game is the weakest. So between practicing every chance I get - and purchasing Innova chains for my house - I'm hittin them more often =)

Ballet? Good thinking! Make sure to give a disc a chance to prove itself before disposing it. It isn't easy to choose a putter. There might not even be one you particularly love, but all the others you tried don't work at all. Form first! Begg is open that should give you wide open room to play with the wind and your Valk. GOOD LUCK! And you are correct, DON'T DRIVE ANGRY!! Happy huckin. Peace
