Well it seems that hitting that proverbial wall is not as painful as climbing it. I have been working on my game as hard as my schedule will let me, and yesterday it started to pay off. I found myself playing the blue tee's at Trophy Lakes here in Charleston and did rather well. I started a little slow but managed to keep all my plastic in my bag and shoot 1 over which is a great improvement for me considering the last time i played the blues out there I threw 4 disc in the water and played 10 over. After leaving Trophy I picked up a club mate and we played Park Circle just to get in some practice, I managed to throw consistently for the whole round but the back 9 was unbelievable, or shall I say 8 because the park department hasn't put it back yet. On that back 8 holes I birded 6, bogey'ed 1 and managed to throw an ACE on hole #15. I just wish that I would have been playing a round that was something more than a casual round.
I guess the next few weeks will tell the tale of my work, we shall see if this small victory with my "game" will stick around and I can manage to scale this every growing wall. Stay tuned to this channel for more updates as this incredible drama unfolds.
