Saturday was typical Kansas discgolf weather: Hot and windy with a high dose sun. Sunday was absolutelyl beautiful. The clouds rolled in just as we hit the heat of the day. could not have asked for better timing. The ACDGC did a great job of readying both Herman Hill and Oak Park. Something like $4,000 in added sponserhip including discs, snacks, coupons, and Pizza provided by Little Deb and Nick (Bunch Masonry)for all players Sunday afternoon. My drives were looking great all weekend, even with the wind screaming up from the Arkansas at Herman. My putting gift has dissapeared though; I am not sure where it went. I would sink a few from '20+ and miss a few from '8. so much for consistancy... anyways, I was so pleased with the consistancy of my drives, I never landed in the junk save once or twice and miraculously there were windows of oppourtunity in those rough lies. My scores went down every round, so I know I was doing something right. I never took anything above a 6!!!! Maybe one seven on an ob, can't remember now... damn 420 club! Ashlyn, Duh, Deb, amy, and the other chicks were all fun to have on your card. Very positive atmosphere. My only issue of the weekend was a chick who decided she didn't have enough money to play her division so she played am; she would have taken first in advanced and given close competition to Robin in open. If you can't afford to play in your division, then don't play. Sandbagging should not be an option to offset financial spending. Very unfair! She was nice to throw with and all, but seriously... Thanks again to the ACDGC and all the volunteers and sponsers!!!!! Check out http://www.kansasdiscgolf.com
