The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

dps is in the process of making new disc golf bag(s).... tell us what you want in a disc golf bag....

Here's your chance to tell a 'disc golf brand' what you think.

We are in the sloooooow process of developing new products.

This time it's a new model disc golf bag.

What do you want?

We know about fair pricing, it can't be too expensive or cheap either. No one wants junk.

Colors, size amenities like pockets.... 'digital camo'

Durable, recycled materials (that would be cool)....

Feel free to make a difference.

There are no wrong ideas.

Who knows dps might even give away a new disc golf bag to who has the best idea.

Yeah, we are not just picking your brain.

Oh and this bag will be made in USA.

Been working on the 'mental' game, hence the name for the new bag.....

Talked with a cut and sew company today (real deal).

Looks like the dps bag will be coming out in early 2013!

Expect the best. Made in USA.

No Guydro will not be ripping off the Grip bag....

I personally don't want to carry a backpack when playing.

Have had a lot of positive feedback on the dps bag...

Isn't that always the case, the male has to adjust to the female?

(Laughter now).

Male (left) side is adjustable.

I have seen these clips on many applications.

Would work fine for umbrella straps. Of course the straps would have to be adjustable.

Or maybe we should call them "squeeze-clips".
I would think that, the larger the clip, the more durable they will be. I have a super cool fanny-pack (jealous?) with 1 1/4" clips that have lasted a while. I'm guessing umbrella straps probably won't be used nearly as often.

oooooooooooooooooooh,

Y'know... these things.BTW, I've seen dg bags using these clips for a chest strap so that the bag wouldn't bounce around much when playing courses like, oh I dunno, da canyon!

Do you have a photo of the clips for an umbrella?

I have yet to see a bag with sufficient straps for an umbrella. Though I hadn't looked at bags for quite a while, until recently when mine finally gave out. I think the quick-clips are the way to go.
Dual zippers on the end pouches so discs don't fly out when swinging the bag onto your shoulders.
As Ben mentioned, insulated drink holder is a great idea.
A convenient pouch for the mini & score card... next to the pencil holders

Pencil holders that are shorter than the pencils, so you don't have to use tweezers to get the pencil out of the hole.

I've always been a fan of the accordion insert, because it helps me to keep track of which discs I threw, when I'm warming up, or taking mulligans (not that I ever need them) Though I'm probably in the minority here.
