The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
Here's your chance to tell a 'disc golf brand' what you think.
We are in the sloooooow process of developing new products.
This time it's a new model disc golf bag.
What do you want?
We know about fair pricing, it can't be too expensive or cheap either. No one wants junk.
Colors, size amenities like pockets.... 'digital camo'
Durable, recycled materials (that would be cool)....
Feel free to make a difference.
There are no wrong ideas.
Who knows dps might even give away a new disc golf bag to who has the best idea.
Yeah, we are not just picking your brain.
Oh and this bag will be made in USA.

And is high priced.
Not knowing what it costs to make can't really say.

Comment by Craig P on October 8, 2012 at 10:28am I personally would love to see a quality small bag-- not exactly like the nutsac but with a concept like that of sorts. I dont use more than 6-8 discs. And I aint using one of the weekender bags cuz they look like a cooler lol.
Definitely need a pocket on the side big enough to hold all my medical MJ accessories -and an insulated drink holder would definitely be nice.
I haven't actually been able to get my hands on one of your bags. I do right now have a Fade tourney bag/straps. But plan on offing those if I can find something smaller and its not called a nutsac... I dont like to put nutsacs on my side, the one between my legs is definitely enough lol.
Just a thought... :)

Comment by Southpaw_517 on September 21, 2012 at 11:41pm Versatility is something I really look for in a bag. I generally carry less than 8 discs, but I love having a lot of extra room to carry extra gear. I have a hyzerbomb flak, which is a backpack style carrier. I don't know if you can do this with the Grip eq bags, but I can fit a small cooler, plus 3 - 4 articles of clothing in the bottom compartment. That way I can keep my drinks cold, or stock some yogurt to keep my energy up. And if It gets heats up/cools down I have extra space for layers and such. This is a particularly handy feature for people who like to play in the winter as well.
Comment by Disc Player Sports on September 19, 2012 at 10:34pm There is a recycled "Codura" out on the market.
It all comes down to availability.
Patagonia uses a product make of recycled plastic bottles.
Would have to find someone in the industry to find an available product.
Comment by Disc Player Sports on September 19, 2012 at 10:33pm To make a freezable pack would be an added expense, increasing the cost of the bag.
But, the idea is feasible to make a pocket for an aftermarket ice pack.
Worth looking into.
