I'm currently down to throwing 330-350 at best and with little accuracy. I'm not sure what's happening if it's a failure in technique or aging catching up with me (I'm 38). This past weekend was the first set of field sessions in ages where I didn't break 360'. I threw one 358 with my flippiest SL. It just kept drifting right and floating. Oh, I also gave myself a blood blister at my main rip point on my index finger. All my drivers are going about this distance unless I have a big form breakdown, which has been happening more frequently lately. I just wish I knew what was going on so I could fix it.
As to course play, I did okay at Sylmar today. In 2 rounds I was 3 over and 2 over, which is not fantastic but could have been much worse. Double Bogeying the 8th hole in both rounds was far and away the most frustrating thing there. My drive was a little short and about 20' left of the basket which puts a set of oleanders between you and the basket with no way around but a 'Patent Pending' shot involving an anhyzer over the OB path. First round I didn't snap the anhyzer enough, 2nd round I oversnapped it and hit a tree which kicked me OB anyways.
