Eldo was the second stop on our disc golf/wine tour. I think I shot my best score on the entire trip here although by the end of the round I was climbing trees to get my discs out. Fatigue became a factor because of the long drive and playing Huntington Beach in the morning. This course was fun to play but can become a little tedious. Most of the shots have to be shaped around trees which makes it fun and interesting. My wife had a hard time here because her discs kept elevating into the canopy of the trees. It is most definitely a difficult course for those who have trouble keeping their shots low to the ground. On the back 9 the trees thin out a little but the distance of the holes increase dramatically. This was the first time that I had thrown to a 650' basket, and that wasn't even in the long position!!!!!! I couldn't walk away with a par on that long hole, but a great experience none the less.
Once again I would definitely make the drive back up to play this course again. Didn't make my top 5 courses list, but only because we played so many great ones

This is my home course! Glad you got to play it. The trees are a major factor, but you get used to them. A lot of us just go over then on a few holes now!
