The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Today had pretty fair weather, it was cloudy, sprinkled some, and really light wind. Ate a good breakfast for the the long day ahead. It gook 5 of us over 4 hours to get thru all the pro tees in the third round. By the time we got back we only 35mins to go get food (thanx David), when it is supposed to be an hour after the last card. I mean it can take 15 mins just to get out of the park to a main road, cops patrol the place, the speed limit is 25mph, you always see bicyclists and runners on the side of the street....and moose for that matter.

I started out the round pretty crappy with four 5s to give away 2nd place, my front 9 sucked some serious @$$. I started to get pretty pissed off about it and then realized that I was getting into my head. The back 9 was amazing, at least compared to my front 9. My personal record from the pro tees at Kincaid is a 65 and I finished with a 73 today. Brian finished with a 71 which ended up putting him one stroke in front of me for first place. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd were separated by one stroke each...201, 202, 203. After lunch (if you call it that), we came back for a final 9 from the AM tees....1 - 5 and 15 - 18. Hole #3 was the CTP and hole #4 had a double mando thru a birch tree that grew out of the ground in a wide "Y" shape. Brian and Louie shot up the gut on hole three to park it, their discs were touching, Louie coming in on the second throw to land on Brian's (slightly) closer - took a pic of it and posted it. Brian won the CTP for that round and I'm not sure if he got money or plastic. I ended up missing the mando and had to take a 4 on the hole...boooooooo. I ended up losing by 2 strokes to Brian who ended up winning a basket for first place in advanced. I won an FLX 175g Buzzz, Champion Monarch 171g, and a Classic Roc 172g. I also found that I won the CTP for hole 9 the day before at Russian Jack and won a Champion Destroyer 169g. The whole advanced group was so tight from round to round it was really anybody's game. I liked the competitive spirit and how close the game was thru all 63 holes. Heres to Brian for winning, good job bro....and I'm ganking your basket when you ain't looking. Oh yeah, how did that full size basket fit in your Volks Bug? LOL It was so funny, he was like "this ain't going to fit in my car..." Duh Brian, Duh

I had a great time despite getting pissed and breaking courtesy violations (i think *shame*) and can't wait till the next tourney.

Better bring it Brian, your @$$ is mine on the Moose Pretzel boi!!!!!!
