The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I'm not bragging. I'm just writing these down somewhere I can find them next time we go out to throw into the wind. We only started playing MTA a couple months ago, so we don't have very impressive times. We're throwing a Discraft ultimate lid.

Kira: 5.11
Bruce: 6.21
Diana: Still working on the catching it part!

My almost best time is 7.87. I mishandled the catch.

If you MTA, what's your best?

MTA or Maximum Time Aloft is the game where you throw the disc in the air, catch it with one hand, and measure the time it was in the air. The object of the game is to get the maximum time aloft, or, as we play it, to beat your previous best time. The official WFDF rules are at

Next time I'm at Discraft I'm going to ask what disc they think is best for MTA.

I would love to learn more about MTA... can you post a link to any good reference material online?
