First AM2 tourney

Used my new 900 rating this weekend in Ypsilanti & entered my first tourney in Am2.... 4 strokes off the lead going into round 2 & pulled out a victory by staying calm through the storm so to speak. Couple inches of snow fell during the 2nd round. Good start to the move up eh :)

PDGA site is down right now & round ratings weren't up earlier today, I'd assume they're both pretty good. I was less than 5 strokes I think from the Am1 winner.

Ace pool... I couldn't see it but those teeing on #9 (and our spotter/caddy for Ken) witnessed my first drive of the day bang solid basket & drop next to it on #8 longs at Rolling Hills. Wow that could have been a sweet start to the day! No one hit the ace & I got beat out by one other person on the throw off by about a foot to take it down at the end of the day.

There was also a basket toss, my 49" was the closest, well tied for closest... yes, tied at 49" we both threw, Ken's caddy (can't remember your name, sorry) parked his shot for the 9th basket he won this year from Tagda/M2

Ring of Fire, couple weeks ago I made the only shot on a cold day from a group around 35 to claim the only prize given out. Sunday at Rolling hills I took home 3 Subway gift cards during the ring of fire with a Roller, Lefty shot & one other random toss.

Very good day of disc for me. If only my partner or I could have hit 3 more putts the day earlier during my first round of dubs @ Hudson Mills & we would have tied for first cash there.
