First Round, First Hole, First Throw, ACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This past Saturday, Valentine's day, we had our February monthly at O.T. Sloan in Sanford. We had our player's meeting and then everyone headed off to their tees. We started on hole #1. The time keeper for hte event was with us. Well, he yelled 2 minutes, and then the start. Poncho was the first up, he flicked to the right. He could recover. I got up on the tee wiht my faithful Star Teerex and line up the shot. Kind of a narrow lane with a slight "s" design. I threw and wathced my disc fly. One of the younger guys behind me said, "ohhhh" then chings. It was in. Of course I ran around sreaming and dancing and celebrating. It was the only Ace for the event so it landed me the $60 ACE pool. To make things better, I finished tied for 1st with Stacey and lost in the playoff but I still took a good second and an ACE. What a day!!
