First Tourney

I am playing in my first tourney tomorrow. The King of the Courses!! Basically a disc golf marathon. 36 holes, eat lunch, 36 holes! So, hopefully I do decent enough to maybe win something. I had no idea what division to play in, so I picked Recreational. I don't play enough to call myself more than that. More updates tomorrow on how it went.

I don't know how long you've been playing, but I would have said play AM. I had played less than a year and took 2nd in AM in my first tournament at my home course. Just go out and have fun. There is no pressure during a tournament. The only pressure is the kind you create yourself. That's the main thing I've learned after playing more and more tournaments of the past few years. No matter where you play, the typical disc golfer will help you out and encourage you to just play your game and not worry about what others are doing. In fact, don't even look at your score until the tournament is over. That's the best way to go. Good luck in the tournament!!!
