I was in Flagstaff a week or so ago and threw my first round in the snow. It wasn't long before I was singing the "Wish I had a sidearm blues."

Thorpe Park is a great course I recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area. I definitely want to go back in better weather. If you look at the pics I posted you can see somehow the tee boxes were largely clear. I dunno tee box elves? Whatever caused the tee boxes to be clear for the first 12 holes decided it had enough and went home. :(

I was one under at hole 12 then with snow and ice as footing I bagged 5 bogeys in the remaining 6 holes. YAAAAY!

So anyone who's isn't experienced playing in the snow (like me) if you show up at an Ice Bowl make sure you've practiced your zero step side arm. You'll be glad you did.
