Ft. Lauderdale disc golf.

Spending a week in Ft. Lauderdale Fl. after Christmas any suggestions on courses and disc shops in the area?

Comment by Nick Kuzmicz on December 20, 2009 at 12:59pm: Tradewinds is my home coarse. Its a great park. Wide open fields with a lot of wind. We got a Doubles League on Saturday starting at 3pm or if your the betting kind show up at 11am and play Vlad with our gamblers.

As far as shops go, you can go to the Wal-greens down the street from Tradewinds or if you goto Easterlin they have a Dart/Bowling shop that now carries discs.

Down in or around Miami...Amelia Earhart slightly west and north of Miami, I think....then slightly south of that...Indian Hammock in Kendall. Any of those are good picks....But Tradewinds is right there...Generally a big open course...lots of water and wind.
