Goin' to the Memorial

............ Heading out to the Memorial to see the big fountain in Arizona ...... booked and 

psyched and ready to play ..... coming from Canada to get a little sun and heat and some long valkryie hyzer bombs ... the wife is even going to caddie for me, she's got MS so will get in her electric scooter and carry the bag hung off the chair behind her ....... i've even joined the pdga, something i thot i'd never do ........ but here i am, now a member ... i hope a few more of you senior gm's sign up so we can have a good am shoot out ..... the courses look interesting so we're really looking forward to a good time......... should be just super fun to see some of them big boys throw too .... and come on out  all you women too i want to see it all ......... look forward to seeing you in Scottsdale.

Sweet...you're going to have a blast!  They have an cool scene there in the Phoenix area, with great courses to boot.  My best friend--who just so happens to be the guy who got me into playing this great game--now lives in Phoenix and I played Vista Del Camino when I visited.  Vista is a beautiful and challenging course with Spinners disc golf store across the street and a bar & grill literally on site.  I haven't seen Fountain Hills in person, but the footage most of us have seen is almost breathtaking.

 

I doubt I'll be able to go this year, but I really want to take that trip sometime soon myself.  Congrats to you for such a sweet pot o' gold at the end of the winter rainbow.  I guess all that's left to say is good luck in the tourney, because having a blast in that environment is inevitable.  From what I've seen, my game plane would be to just try and stay away from the water as much as possible, but to bring some back-ups just in case.  Your score, bag, and emotions will thank you.  I'll probably be watching the live coverage online, so I'll be rooting for you from Missouri!
