The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Bill talked me into playing doubles at Greer this evening. I was teamed with a guy named Austin who is a much better player than I am. We threw -6 for a 48 to place 3rd. I really struggled with my teeshots, but playing with Austin meant that my teeshots were not going to be used anyway. We won $13 for finishing 3rd. It cost $5 to play plus a dollar for the ace pool. I let Austin take the odd dollar since he carried us, so I broke even in cash. There were 18 for doubles which I think is the most that they've had in Greer. I seldom play doubles as I am very uncomfortable with people that I don't know.

I also found a nice disc on #6 with no ink. I posted it in the Lost & Found forum on the Upstate Site, but if nobody claims it I'll give it to a newbie.
