The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

The new course in Hastings Michigan is a gem. I played the course yesterday with course designer Sam Sherwood from the longs. The course is still being worked on but is very playable. The course boasts two pin placements and two tee placements. I am not sure on the length, but the longs have some good holes. The course is well designed with a mixture of holes and length. There is one hole over 550' that plays to a pin on a hill with steep drop offs. The course is also a hike. I was beat after my round which was decent considering i dont shoot good at new courses. I managed to shoot a 59, 5 over par. The course boasts some major elevation and precarious pin placements on hills that threaten the offlin put with the possibility of a roll away. I am definitely a fan of the course.
