Holmes Alone

I headed to Holmes Park for a quick round. I was playing fairly well off the tee but not able to hit 20 to 30 foot putts. I missed birdie putts on #1, #2, #3, and #7. I birdied #5, #6, and #8 to finish at -3 for a 24.My putt on #5 was dead behind a tree and I had to massage it around the tree and into the chains. #6 was a short straight shot and #8 was a straight in shot from about 15 to 20 feet below the basket. That is the first time that I ever birdied #8.
