Holmes Once Alone

I ran over to Holmes for a quick round tonight. I didn't play especially well as I ended up at +3 for 30. I threw two birdies on #3 and #6, but I took a double bogey on #4. My tee shot was a FAT hard side-arm throw about 30 feet off the tee box. (FAT = First Available Tree!) I thought that I had thrown a great recovery shot to save a bogey, but when I got to the basket I was over 40 feet above the basket. I wimped out on my putt and it hyzered away from the basket then caught an edge and rolled about 35 feet below the basket. But I drained the comeback putt to save a double bogey. Then a finished with 3 consecutive bogeys to end up with a 30. When I first arrived I saw my buddy Steve from work out for his evening constitutional with his wife and shouted Hooty-Hoo across the lot.
