The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

So i went down to and played a round at winthrop university (rock hill, SC) with my brother and preceded to lose a driver to the gigantic lake on a 700+ ft hole, was pretty pissed then 2 holes later on a bounce to a roll i lost my new champ spider to the same lake. i was pretty frustrated about it but then i went and played Reedy Creek in Charlotte and scored a personal best 56 on the par 54 course so it made up for the earlier loss of discs.....

I lost a Star Firebird the same day on hole 18... tried to forehand it up the hill to the right and screwed up... it was my favorite disk too... At least it has my name and # on it.

If you loose one in the lake, check with the club house or school. Theres a man with a "special" rake that pulls numerous discs out of the water. I saw him remove a stack of like 30 after "fishing" for just a few minutes.

The Winthrop course can be brutal. That lake has taken hundreds of discs and will continue to do so in the future. I have lost a few, in those waters, myself so I feel your pain. It's cool to come back from that and then shoot a personal best afterwards.
