The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I've always wondered, if I win my State tournament (South Dakota), how much closer does that get me to becoming a pro?  How much do the Pros make?  Can they live off of disc golfing alone?   What do I have to do to make it big time, other than simply win?

Pay.

If you enter the "Open" division, you are a Pro.

Pay the entry fee.

Pro.

The next step is to try and win "last place cash" in the "open division"

Then you are a "Cashing Pro"

They call it the "Open division" because it is OPEN to anybody that thinks they have the skills...no rating, age, or skill level is required...just PAY!

Pay, Play, and tell everybody you play in the Pro division.

To be able to support yourself on Disc Golf payout?

Better get off the computer and more Eat, Breathe, and Sleep in Disc Practice mode.

The touring Pros of today really only do Disc Golf...practice, and travel, and practice.

Get started, Have Fun! and Good Luck, you can do it!!

Your age and player rating tells everything. How well are you playing in advanced div? Play @ WORLDS you will see how you rank. Good luck.

How 'DO' you become a pro? Good thing you don't have to know how to spell. Look at your scores. Are they low enough to cash in Open? And listen to Bruce. If you can compete with Darrell, you have potential. He is a GREAT golfer.

Drive up to Dickinson, ND, and look up Darrell Nodland.  If you can compete with him, you could make a living as a touring pro.
