OK...so here is my 2-cents. Parks and Recreation are obligated to provide space for "all constituents" for public use. It seems that there in Canton there is plenty space for those that vote regularly but lack facilities for those that do not. I have seen the "inappropriate" stuff that disc golf is infamous for, but have also seen it at adult softball games. It is ironic that they single out group activities....and the usage of passive parks versus active is odd....wouldn't a walking trail be an active event? Seriously, you need to be involved in the political process and let people know what is going on and how their money is being spent. That is how the democratic process works...get involved...stay involved...and run for office if you don't like what you see happening in your town or city.

I agree completely.

Agreed. If we want people to respect the sport then we need to clean things up. That does include discs - some dyes are really cool, but send the absolute wrong message. Hang 'em on your wall - but don't take them to the course. Watch your language when non-disc golf folk are around. Be polite to park workers. If you want to drink, do it after the round. Time to step it up a notch.

We have to share our public park space. We can't have disc golf in every park. And these older people have been paying taxes longer then the young ones that are up in arms have been alive. Taxes fund public parks. Let them have a safe place to walk.

Want to be active in support of disc golf? Start by getting rid of vandels, graffiti etc.

It's hard to have a leg to stand on when you are pleading your case for a course infront city officals when the parks they fund are full of dick and pot leaf drawings!!

I wonder if hole 14 at Pebble Beach has a tee marker with a dong drawn on it that someone else drew over to make it look like a waterbong with a leaf sticking out of it? Nike going to put out ti drivers with leafs dyed on the head? Professional.

Clean it up and the old guard will open up. Just my 2c
