I am taking a break from doing taxes. I would be playing disc golf, but I already used that excuse earlier. So, now I am just blogging. I know it cannot be emphasized enough, because people are kind enough to point these things out to me, and after 2 1/2 years I am getting some of it. So, here goes: 1) if the only way you can win is working someone, then so be it. If you were bullied when you were a kid, and then into high school, and your now 40 or 50 and you are not over it, get over it. 2) When you are playing doubles, it is better to pick your shot and play it, than go wondering around the woods ahead of the group looking for it. It is probably sht anyway. 3) do not wait until your "friend" is on the T pad before asking them a series of questions. 4) Once a person takes a stance behind their disc/ mini, this means that they are preparing to shoot/putt and it is now time to S.T.F.U. 5) Unless you have earned the Tpad, or the group has agreed it's first up first throw, then stay off the pad until it is your turn, even if you deuced the previous hole. 6) Most people are quite entertaining for the first 5/6 holes, after that most are not. 7) Using the F bomb after a particularly nasty drive towards the path on D is what causes walkers to call and complain about Disc Golfers. I hate it myself, and I'm right next to you. So your drive sucked, get over it and use your partners drive. If theirs sucked, make a good approach, but watch your mouth you little shitake mushroom. 8) I must admit it that I personally hate when a spectator walks up to me in a tournament to point out a foot fault. Come tell me after hole 18, or the last hole we play, otherwise, shut your pie hole, and quit talking when people actually playing in the tournament are shooting.
Alright, all bitching aside, I had a great time playing today in the rain. Soaked and loving it.
