The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

A frisbee is probably the number one symbol of the counter culture. It is destined to take over the ball as it is far superior in power, glide, watchability, and so on. Frisbees and Disc have always been a way for me to escape the jockular bad attitudes of traditional sports and the people who play them. The ball people are here. There messing with people. Denying them membership to the club, pitting people against each other. Bringing seriousness to a level that Disc Golf should never be.
As someone who runs a Charity event every year with the PkA fraternity, I understand the power of Disc Golf. You cant confuse the power with Seriousness. When you tell people what to and not to do, even in a sport you must be careful. What you do off the course and not in a tournament is none of my business. Keep your hands and laws off my body. I understand as we grow we grow with pains.
I hope this blog is read by the people who think this just like every other sport. NO IT IS NOT. We get along. We help each other out. We act like Gentlemen and Women on course.

We have the power to be an Alternative to norm sports! It is going into my Tournament Director speech this year.

I love being a disc golfer, and being in love with a disc golfer. ♥ It's not like "If you choose wrong, you won't belong". It's about having fun and yes, we help each other out!

It's definitely different from the mainstream. That's a big part of my attraction to disc golf. We disc golfers tend to think and act a little differently. We're a different breed.
