So I've been putting together a series of events, gathering information, and supplies, and getting a plan together to revitalize Knollwood. So far, it's going well, Sunday is the first clean up day, and it looks as though we'll get at least 20-30 people, which is, as far as I can tell, the minimum I need to get the course clean. Also, I'm planning a doubles tournament for mid-August, probably the 15th, which is subject to change, however, I'm pretty sure that one is going to work. I've obtained a contact at Innova, and enough support to order 50 custom stamped discs for the event including Glo Champion Sidewinders, Glo Champion Eagle-L's, Glo Champion Aviars, and Star Teerexes. Those should provide enough cash to add between 5 and 9 concrete teepads, which is only the beginning for my plans. The K'wood Chiefs are a Disc Golf club dedicated to raising money through charitable events in order to make Knollwood a better place for everybody that visits. If you would like to be a part of this new organization, please contact me, and let me know whatever skills you bring to the table.
Anyway, why the hell does it have to rain today? I just received the R-Wood plastic Rancho Cucomonga Roc that I ordered from LSDiscs (Check out their new website) in the mail yesterday, and I am really itching to get it out on the course.
